InternSexSymbol Magazine is seeking a creative, film-minded Editing Intern to join their team. This unpaid internship offers hands-on experience editing artist interviews and documentary-style content in the music and culture space.
Media Production
Responsibilities
Edit artist-exclusive video interviews with a focus on pacing, emotion, and narrative flow
Create short-form content from long-form footage for social media platforms
Interpret creative direction and independently shape edits without extensive hand-holding
Deliver polished edited content to the Social Media Manager on a consistent basis
Support additional video editing projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Have a film, media, or artistic editing background
Possess a strong creative eye and an appreciation for highly produced, documentary-style content
Comfortable making independent creative decisions and working with minimal direction
Interested in music, culture, and storytelling through video
Able to manage deadlines and work remotely
