Analyst
SteeleHarbour Capital Partners is a privately-held real estate investment firm focused on middle-market equity and debt investments. They are seeking a Real Estate Analyst to perform financial modeling and analysis for existing and new investments, conduct market research, and prepare investment summaries for senior management.
Responsibilities
Perform asset-level financial modeling, valuation and other financial analyses for existing and new investments
Conduct due diligence, underwriting, financial modeling, project financing projections, and assist in creating presentation materials for existing and new investments
Conduct market research including demographic studies, location analysis, feasibility studies, and competitor information to facilitate decision making
Analyze IRR projections, promote calculations, waterfall structures, and cash flow forecasts for both new and existing investments
Prepare investment summaries through market research, risk/strength assessment and property valuation analysis for potential investments, and present to senior management
Prepare and maintain investor marketing and reporting materials, including offering memorandums, joint venture capital raising presentations, financing materials and asset management reports
Interface with SteeleHarbour joint venture partners
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2-4 years of directly applicable experience in commercial real estate, including investment banking, private equity, acquisitions/underwriting, and/or financing
Excellent due diligence, analytical, negotiating, transaction structuring, and financial modeling skills
Strong valuation, due diligence, and real estate financial analysis skills
Asset-level underwriting experience is required
Excellent and proven written and oral presentation skills. Ability to communicate and present to senior management
Ability to work as a collaborative team player in a closely held, fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and results oriented attitude
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively on a multi-phased, mixed-use project
Undergraduate degree in Business, Real Estate, or Finance
Ability to travel as required
Must possess a passion for real estate investment
The Firm will consider a candidate's ability to relocate to Sarasota, FL and will fund relocation costs
Preferred
Experience with residential condominium modeling is a plus
