They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design automation and metalworking machines, as well as modify existing machinery, while also providing customer interaction for quoting and project management.

Responsibilities
Design automation machines and/or metalworking machines (chamfering machines) complete, as well as modifications of existing machinery
Develop creative solutions and perform design calculations to ensure design integrity
Interact with customers for both quoting and project managing
New designs, design modifications, layouts and sales support
Qualification
Required
Proficient at SolidWorks (minimum 10 years experience)
Mechanical design expertise
Experience in manufacturing environment
Organized and problem solver
Ability to calculate loads, torques, vector analysis, to support design elements
Competent at Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
Must be proficient at verbal and written communications
