Responsibilities

Develop designs for complex industrial and technology projects from inception through construction documents
Oversee the execution of the team and consultants through the design development process
Represent the company as project contact with client management and end-users
Direct a team of architects, engineers, and consultants to create comprehensive drawings and reports that meet client’s expectations and schedules

Qualification

Licensed Architect in CaliforniaArchitectural Design experienceProject Management experienceAutodesk RevitAutoCADTitle 24BuildingFire CodesLEED accreditationEffective presentation skillsClear communication skillsTeamwork skills

Required

10 years minimum Architectural Design or Project Management experience
Licensed Architect in California
Ability to own a project from start to finish with ability to oversee the execution of the team and consultants through the design development process
Strong production skills using Autodesk Revit
Strong production skills using AutoCAD
Knowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essential
Experience with local planning and building department approval processes including zoning approvals, entitlements, and building permits. (DSA and HCAI experience are a plus)
Effective and strong presentation skills
Comfortable representing the company as project contact with client management and end-users
Clear written and verbal communication skills to direct a team of architects, engineers, and consultants to create comprehensive drawings and reports that meet client's expectations and schedules
Strong teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration, creativity and professional development with others
Education: BA or BArch or Masters in Architecture from an accredited university

Preferred

Experience with Labs, Clean Rooms and Industrial projects preferred
LEED accreditation desirable, but not required
