Eastern Regional Sales Manager – Capital Equipment

Cyclone Technology, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a manufacturer of Capital Equipment of high-pressure water cleaning machines for the US and International marketplace. They are seeking an experienced Eastern Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow capital equipment sales within the assigned territory, responsible for driving revenue through strategic account management and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the regional sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities
Lead complex, high-value capital equipment sales cycles from prospecting through contract close
Develop strong relationships with end users, engineering teams, procurement, and executive stakeholders
Collaborate closely with internal teams (applications engineering, service, marketing, and operations) to deliver customer solutions
Manage, train, and support distributors or dealers where applicable
Forecast sales activity accurately using CRM tools and provide regular pipeline and performance reports
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with company objectives
Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus
5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in capital equipment or complex technical sales
Proven success selling high-value solutions with long sales cycles
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region (typically 40–60%)
Proficiency with CRM systems, HubSpot is a plus
Valid driver's license

Preferred

Technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering-driven products
Industry experience in manufacturing / automation / energy / construction / and municipalities
