This full-time position provides front-line customer service and administrative support for the Dean’s Office, ensuring timely and professional communication and service to students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line customer service and administrative support for the Dean’s Office to support multiple departments with shared services
Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication and service to students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
Contribute to the smooth operation and positive reputation of the supported units, as well as customer service to external associates partnering with CIS in the expansion of its degree and cocurricular programs
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Write, prepare, and edit materials, using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction
Use inclusive language to effectively respond to clients, coworkers, and customers who have questions about agency operations and procedures (in person, in writing, on the phone, and through presentations and other electronic correspondence)
Answer questions and advise customers of program policies, procedures, and regulations using business grammar, spelling and punctuation to write, develop and edit reports, letters, procedures, presentations, and other documents
Answer questions politely via phone, email, and other written or electronic correspondence
Explain laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures to clients, coworkers, and customers
Manage and address customers’, clients’, and co-workers’ concerns tactfully and thoroughly

Required

Preferred

Proficiency using Microsoft 365, emphasizing TEAMS, SharePoint, and Outlook
Experience and skill using Workday or similar

Work experience within a Higher Education institution
Record of professional success in institutional partnerships or community engagement
