Responsibilities
Directly manage technical controls and evidence collection to support SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST initiatives
Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation to ensure project excellence and compliance
Monitor threats and manage identity, MFA, and privileged access controls to protect sensitive data
Lead migrations and serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365 tenants, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
Utilize Microsoft Intune and RMM for device enrollment, automated patching, and compliance enforcement across endpoints
Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to support remote work and application delivery
Manage advanced cloud-based security and connectivity, including firewalls, VPNs, and virtual networking
Serve as the tier-2 and tier-3 technical escalation point for service delivery and complex technical issues
Conduct root-cause analysis for system failures and drive automation through scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) to optimize internal environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
5+ years of experience in systems administration and security engineering, ideally within an MSP or enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining controls for SOC 2, HIPAA, or NIST frameworks
Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure (AVD focus optional), and Network Security
Familiarity with NIST, CIS, or SOC 2 frameworks
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical requirements with business needs
