Responsibilities
Design and build modern, cloud-based applications using Java, TypeScript (Node.js), and AWS
Contribute as a key member of a highly effective agile team delivering industry-leading features
Lead technical discussions and influence architecture and design decisions across multiple teams
Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion
Plan, document, and communicate technical initiatives and project progress
Support and enhance customer-facing software applications across the full technology stack
Collaborate closely with product owners to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions
Integrate on-premises systems with cloud-based infrastructure
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Octopus Deploy
Partner with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for performance and reliability
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., LLM-based coding assistants) to improve development velocity and code quality
Support, maintain, and enhance existing systems based on evolving business needs
Qualification
Required
8 10 years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java and TypeScript (Node.js)
Extensive experience with AWS, including services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and Secrets Manager
Proven experience integrating on-premises solutions with cloud infrastructure
Solid understanding of full-stack web application development, from database to presentation layer
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data modeling, and system architecture design
Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while also leading and collaborating within cross-functional teams
Experience serving as a functional or technical lead on multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor or similar LLM-based platforms
Experience leading multiple concurrent projects
Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices, including Agile or Kanban frameworks
Familiarity with Git-based branching and release models
Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-native deployment strategies
