Responsibilities
Designing and implementing data transformations, ingestion and curation functions within a Snowflake environment. Responsible for all CI CD pipeline deployments
Build data models and table structures within Snowflake from various source systems, SAP, Workday other applications
Monitor, enhance and improve processes across the technical solutions that feed the data warehouse thru various systems
Optimizing data pipelines for performance and cost solutions
Administration and management of all users access to the various tools in the landscape, to include DBT, Snowflake, DevOps
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business/IT/Computer science required
5-7 years experience
Strong in database management and data modelling fact and dimension tables
Data vault modeling design and experience
Previous experience as data engineer on startup Data Platform project
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, tools and techniques
Strong knowledge experience with GIT OPS
Working knowledge and experience in Agile methods
Python, SQL, R experience or education
API experience
Experience with Fivetran, SAP, Snowflake, SQL, AWS, Power BI
Preferred
Masters degree in Computer science, or business analytics helpful
Knowledge of DBT software would be a plus
Certifications in a cloud platform would be a plus, AWS preferred
