Senior Electrical Engineer
Schetter Electric, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems across various projects. The role involves providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements
Provide expert guidance on electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and renewable energy solutions
Oversee a team of designers and staff on a project basis or individual initiative
Interface with clients to understand their needs, present technical solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Perform electrical system calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance, efficiency, and safety
Ensure that all electrical designs meet relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed
Implement quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in electrical system design and documentation
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
7 to 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership
Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience in project management and budgeting
Construction Industry: 5 years
