Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring full traceability from customer needs through design, implementation, and verification
Perform system architecture development, trade studies, and technical analyses to support informed design decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, test, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams
Support system integration, verification, and validation activities, including test planning and results analysis
Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning and execution
Participate in formal technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and customer-facing technical discussions
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
Support configuration management, change control processes, and technical documentation efforts

Required

Strong systems thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
Ability to decompose complex technical problems into clear requirements and architectures
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
High attention to detail with an understanding of overall system-level impacts
Ability to balance technical rigor with schedule, cost, and program constraints
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
3–5+ years of systems engineering or closely related technical experience
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
This position may require access to controlled technology subject to U.S. export control regulations; candidates must meet applicable eligibility requirements

Preferred

Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
Familiarity with system development lifecycles and verification/validation methodologies
