Responsibilities
Assist in enabling modern and captivating digital experiences for customers, sponsors, and associates
Design meaningful and sophisticated solutions to address stimulating business challenges
Collaborate with product leadership to ensure their business goals and requirements are met
Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams to help them effectively develop and deliver the solutions
Architect and build large scale, high-performing internet-facing platforms that align to architecture blueprints and technical standards
Design elegant and consumable APIs with technologies including Spring Boot, Java, Open API Specification/REST, and Open Policy Agent
Define and document architectural patterns, standards, and blueprints, and evaluate proposed solutions based on their alignment to the same
Understand the business domain and become a trusted advisor and partner to product leadership
Influence product roadmaps by recommending strategies and approaches that help achieve business goals
Build effective relationships and work collaboratively with engineering teams when sought out for consultation and technical guidance
Lead several initiatives at once, whether independently or with others
Communicate effectively to help non-technical people understand technical concepts and explain business strategy to technical audiences
Qualification
Required
Possess demonstrated expertise architecting and building large scale, high-performing internet-facing platforms that align to architecture blueprints and technical standards in an environment where security is paramount
Has demonstrated experience designing elegant and consumable APIs with technologies including Spring Boot, Java, Open API Specification/REST, and Open Policy Agent
Has contributed to defining and documenting architectural patterns, standards, and blueprints, and can evaluate proposed solutions based on their alignment to the same
Understands the business domain and becomes a trusted advisor and partner to product leadership, influencing their product roadmaps by recommending strategies and approaches that help them achieve their goals
Builds effective relationships and works collaboratively with engineering teams when sought out for consultation and technical guidance
Works equally well whether independently or with others and is able to effectively lead several initiatives at once
Is an expert communicator, helping non-technical people to understand technical concepts while being able to explain the business strategy to technical audiences
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or has equivalent experience in this or a related field
