Ensure investigations are completed thoroughly, efficiently, and in compliance with legal and procedural standards to support successful case outcomes
Qualification
Required
Requires two (2) years of college with course work in political science, criminal justice, or a related field
Requires three (3) years' work experience in law enforcement
Requires one (1) year of supervisory experience
A combination of education and experience is acceptable for this position
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the City of Hampton's criteria
Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion
