Engineer Process Technology RCM NOES
ArcelorMittal Calvert is a leading steel processing facility in Alabama, focused on innovative technology and safety. They are seeking an Engineer Process Technology for the NOES plant to manage technology and lead projects aimed at improving product performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the NOES RCM process
Responsible for regular reporting of NOES RCM performance to Technology Manager
Work directly with NOES RCM Operations team to support improvement initiatives
Perform in-depth analysis and investigations of NOES RCM performance
Develop and implement special/improved inspection and testing methods
Drive functionality and performance improvements of process models/control systems (Flatness control model, Rolling model, etc.)

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering field
3+ years rolling mill technology
5+ years of industrial experience
Demonstrated understanding of control systems, instrumentation, process models (Process Management fundamentals)
Experience in NOES – Non-Oriented Electrical Steels product and reversing cold mill (RCM)
Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of mass flow in the cold rolling process
Strong Teamwork and a hands-on working approach
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations to senior management
Preferred
Background in all major steel mill processes and products preferred, with in-depth knowledge of finishing processes and technology
