Distinguished Engineer/ Technical Architect
Largeton Group is seeking a Distinguished Engineer/Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and scaling of wealth management platforms for prestigious financial institutions. This role involves serving as both a hands-on technical architect and a strategic engineering leader, focusing on architecture, systems integration, and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and scaling of wealth management platforms for prestigious financial institutions
Serve as both a hands-on technical architect and a strategic engineering leader
Architect and implement scalable, high-performance platforms using Java, Python, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Design microservices solutions for analytics, onboarding, trading, and reporting
Ensure real-time, low-latency data processing for financial algorithms
Integrate APIs for market data (Bloomberg, Reuters, Plaid) and third-party custodial/payment platforms
Optimize data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and compliance
Lead code reviews, system optimization, and best practice adoption (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps)
Mentor engineering teams (Java, Python, Spring Boot, Django, Pandas)
Promote event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Collaborate with quants and data scientists to deploy AI/ML models
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (blockchain, NLP, robo-advisory)
Drive continuous innovation in line with business and regulatory needs
Enforce robust security frameworks (OAuth, encryption, Zero Trust) for financial data protection
Build and scale technical practice: oversee capacity planning, technical assessments, and automation governance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of progressive leadership in Wealth Management, FinTech, or Financial Services
Proven experience scaling systems/teams in high-growth or startup environments
Strong proficiency in Java and Python
Deep experience with RESTful microservices, Kafka, Snowflake, relational databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement AI, ML, blockchain, and advanced analytics technologies
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or related security/cloud certifications
