The Software Quality Analyst II will support manual testing efforts, validate system requirements, and document defects while participating in the Agile software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Gather and analyze requirements to write and execute test cases
Create simple to moderate SQL statements to validate data
Identify and troubleshoot defects and other test deficiencies
Become an SME in the system
Create training materials around completed test efforts as needed
Ensure that applications and systems function properly and according to business standards and end-user specifications and requirements
Participate in the AGILE software development lifecycle process to identify defects
Participate in the functional and/or technical specification documents review
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance or comparable work experience
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field (or equivalent work experience)
Understanding of Agile and Quality Assurance methodologies
Ability to work with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Understanding of working in SQL and applications such as Jira, Zephyr and other QA tools
Understanding of working with test design/planning, writing and executing test cases
Experience with testing web based and mobile applications
