Fence Lead- Paso Robles
Marborg Industries is seeking a Fence Lead to oversee the fence crew and manage the installation and removal of temporary fences. The role involves administrative responsibilities, vehicle management, and ensuring safety and compliance during operations.

Responsibilities
Distributing daily paperwork to the work crew and explaining work to be completed as needed
Making sure paperwork is completed and is correct
Completes administrative tasks such as the collection of signatures for all work performed, employee time sheets, and other paperwork
Assist with loading trucks with all materials and tools needed to complete work orders
Drive the company truck to job sites and back to the branch following DOT regulations
Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and review of assigned vehicle and document utilizing the Dossier Fleet Management System
Assist in conducting daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition
Make sure guards have not been removed from tools
Work with customers for information and questions regarding site specifications
Review job sites for Access, Ground conditions, Safety hazards, or Obstructions before installation of the fence
Make sure to document any labor difficulties or issues that might slow progress
Explain any site issues with the customer if they are there
Assist with unloading all fence materials and installing the fence with appropriate tools at the work site in accordance with pre-determined specifications per your paperwork
Document all materials used on the jobsite, including any additional labor or materials
Remove the rental fence from the site and safely load it on the truck for transportation back to the yard
You must always use 2 or more load belts for all loads; this is the law and policy
Inspect all fence materials for damage
Document all damage and take pictures, and send them to the office for file records
Notify the customer on-site about damaged or missing materials
Assist with the maintenance and organization of materials in the fence yard, including repairing materials, disposing of damaged or old materials as instructed
Maintaining trucks so they are clean and well-stocked
Inspect what you expect
Giving daily instructions to crews and discussing jobs to be completed
Delegating work to crews as needed
Hand out paperwork to crews
Making sure paperwork is completed properly daily
Communicating information from management to staff as instructed
Qualification
Required
Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with team
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to withstand all types of weather conditions
Ability to lift, stand, and physically work for 8 hours per day
Practical skills for using hand and power tools
A commercial license is preferred
Minimum two-year driving experience and one year of general labor
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum 1 year general labor and 2 years of driving experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Ability to document basic information on pre-designated forms
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
The employee is regularly required to stand, kneel or stoop down as well as using hands to handle materials, and or to feel small parts
The employee frequently is required to walk for long periods of time on concrete floors; stoop, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Specific vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Required to put on protective outfits, like gloves, safety footwear and safety eyeglasses

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Employee will be in a shop environment and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; and risk of electrical shock
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
This position requires employee to travel using company vehicle to off-site work locations using company vehicle and wearing the required PPE
