Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and architect for Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM and XSOAR deployment in a large U.S. banking environment
Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of security operations platforms, integrating with existing SIEM, EDR, IAM, network, and cloud security tools
Build and optimize automation playbooks for incident response, alert management, and SOC process efficiency
Architect and implement scalable solutions for log ingestion, analytics, and automated incident lifecycle workflows
Map and modernize SOC processes into XSIAM analytics and automation use cases, tuning detection logic and improving alert fidelity
Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements; produce clear documentation and support audit needs
Collaborate with SOC leadership, security engineering, risk, and audit teams as a technical authority
Support knowledge transfer, enablement, and best practices within internal teams
Qualification
Required
Deep hands-on experience with Cortex XSIAM/XSOAR
SOC architecture
scripting (Python)
financial/banking security environments
Preferred
Palo Alto Cortex or security certifications (XSIAM, XSOAR, PCNSE, CISSP, GIAC)
