Responsibilities
Categorize freight spending based on lanes, service level, cost centers, adders, etc
Analyze freight spending and identify trends or areas of cost savings
Reports preparation and presentation to management
Drive improvement/cost-savings processes
Recommend the best shipment routes/agents/forwarders based on freight spends analysis and get buy-in from sites involved
Coordinate with Finance and key stakeholders to align data and resolve discrepancies
Work with AMD IT or Business Solution for reports automation or improvement requests
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills
Good with numbers
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
Ability to build effective work relationships and engage stakeholders
Analyze freight spending to identify areas of cost savings
Recommend effective shipping routes/service providers
Raise red flags as needed
Freight knowledge, including incoterms, shipment process, shipment cost component, service levels
Exceptional time and resource management skills
Proactive person with positive can-do mentality
Ability to streamline or standardize processes
Work towards automation to transform existing manual processes
Independent contributor but able to work well in a team
Bachelors' Degree in BA, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance or Accounting
Preferred
Strong excel skills
Strong data analysis experience handling huge datasets
Ability to meet tight deadlines despite challenges
Good understanding of shipping terms, shipment operations and freight billings
Meticulous with zero error tolerance for management reports
Enjoy working with numbers
Ability to engage different partners to achieve targets
MNC working experience that requires frequent interaction with global partners
Experience working in a semiconductor company or OSAT, with strong understanding of logistical system processes desired
Working experience using SAP
Planning system experience
