Responsibilities
Lead Requirements Discovery: Work with Business, Product and Development teams to gather, analyze, and draft comprehensive requirements for the Adobe Commerce platform dev teams
Bridge Business & Tech: Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that developers can execute on
Solution Validation: Collaborate with developers to define/review detailed designs and ensure proposed technical solutions align with business needs and Magento native capabilities; this may include technical hands-on for proof of concept/pilot solutions
Quality Assurance & UAT: Define testing criteria, support QA in test case creation, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful product launches
Process Optimization: Analyze existing e-commerce workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements or automation strategies
Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior analysts, fostering best practices in documentation and requirements management
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with a strong focus on enterprise e-commerce systems (Adobe Commerce/Magento experience is mandatory)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience working in a fast-paced, scaled agile environment
Deep functional knowledge of Adobe Commerce/Magento (B2B & B2C), including catalog management, cart and checkout flows
Ability to read/understand API documentation (REST/GraphQL) and basic SQL to communicate effectively with engineers and architects
Expert-level skill in Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation
Proficiency in creating process maps, data flow diagrams, and wireframes to visualize complex requirements
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate scope and translate technical constraints into business terms
Preferred
Familiarity with GitLab workflows is a plus
