Responsibilities
Process all daily incoming payments, including ACH transfers, wires, physical checks via remote deposit capture, and credit card payments
Analyze customer accounts to discover and resolve discrepancies
Maintain and track all monies received for the sales of trailers
Work in direct partnership with in-house salesmen
Manually input and monitor invoices into various customer-specific web portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, etc)
Identify and investigate 'short-pays' or unapplied cash
Work closely with customers to resolve payment variances
Proactively contact customers with past due balances
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
2+ years in Accounts Receivable or general accounting role
General understanding of accounting principles
Proven ability to manage high-volume data entry with 100% accuracy
Preferred
Experience in Logistics, Trucking or Equipment Leasing is a significant plus
