Responsibilities
Ability to Scan and track pallets from production into the cooler
Must be able to perform all jobs in the department
Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
Do all tasks assigned by members of management
Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned
Enforce safety regulations and practices
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and USDA requirements
Ensure proper loading and unloading of trailers
Plan and implement process improvements
Actively participate in team meetings
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
Previous experience in shipping a plus
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Ability to interact with operational and processing management
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in use of PC, Microsoft applications, and email
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
Ability to work in hot, wet and/or cold environment
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Will be exposed to noise
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math functions and skills
Poultry industry experience
Previous experience in shipping a plus
