Responsibilities
Work on several “clean-sheet” R&D projects at a time
Use statics, dynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, materials, and mechanical design to develop fabrication processes and design, build, and test experimental hardware, working prototypes, and specialized products
Qualification
Required
5+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in industry
Excellent academic credentials (BSME or MSME)
Ability to design for a wide range of fabrication processes
Capabilities in FEM and CAD
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent accuracy
Excellent communication
Preferred
Knowledge and background in materials and structural engineering
Strong analysis skills
P.E. licensure
