Regional Finance Leader - Mid-Atlantic

They are seeking a Regional Financial Leader to support their Commercial business, serving as the primary financial partner to the Mid Atlantic Regional Sales team and leading financial activities across the region.

Responsibilities
Identify and clearly communicate business opportunities and risks. Partner with regional leadership to develop, execute, and measure business and operational plans
Conduct complex and interpretive financial analyses. Provide financial leadership by preparing and presenting variance explanations and insights to regional office and North America stream leadership teams
Lead and support cross functional and cross regional teams to execute key strategies and initiatives
Lead the regional forecasting process and support the annual budgeting cycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional leaders and stream owners
Develop and maintain dashboard reporting for strategic initiatives and priority areas to track performance against goals and forecasts
Monitor and drive improvement in Accounts Receivable, aged collections, and customer disputes to support strong cash flow and working capital performance
Partner with the Americas Accounting Center (AAC) to understand and communicate the impact of accounting entries
Collaborate with peer finance leaders to identify and share best practices across the business
Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SOX requirements within the region
Support leadership in developing measurable compensation plan goals and partner with HR to review and analyze compensation programs
Assess capital expenditure and operating expense requests. Develop business case models to evaluate ROI, business opportunities, and product offerings
Apply Lean tools to drive improvements in office and financial processes. Provide leadership, benefit validation, and support for productivity initiatives
Represent Trane through active participation in community and industry associations
Travel to collaborate within region up to 25%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required
7-10 years' experience in finance, accounting or related field, and strong Financial Analysis skills
Strong influencing abilities and effective presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to clearly communicate and interpret financial results for non-financial leaders
Proven ability to establish and implement processes in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships and a positive rapport across the organization
Advanced Excel skills; proficient with MS Office and knowledgeable in Hyperion Planning, HFM, and OneStream
Detail-oriented and highly sensitive to deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively
Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative, with high ethical standards and a professional presence
Willingness to travel quarterly to support strategic engagement with the Regional Leadership Team
