Responsibilities
Lead design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
Take ownership of hands-on coding, complex business logic, and performance-critical modules
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
Design and implement RESTful APIs with high availability and scalability
Work closely with architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions
Implement security mechanisms using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT
Build event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
Guide teams in adopting cloud-native and containerized architectures using Docker and Kubernetes
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions
Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis
Mentor junior and senior developers and support their technical growth
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Java application development
Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17), OOP, Multithreading, and Collections
Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs
Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ for messaging and event processing
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git/Maven/Gradle)
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
