Responsibilities

Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Analysts, and Clients to execute trades and manage action items across multi-sector insurance mandates
Support the design and implementation of automated workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
Assist in developing and maintaining tools that monitor portfolio performance and risk across mandates, enabling effective portfolio construction and risk management
Act as a point of contact with Middle Office for settlements and cash management, with the Data Integrity Group for data-related issues, and with Compliance for investment guideline or regulatory adherence
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Build expertise in fixed income asset classes (Corporate, CRE, Securitized/Structured, Treasury) and insurance regulatory frameworks, including risk-based capital requirements
Participate in trade idea discussions and contribute to portfolio strategy
Support special initiatives and projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or a related field
Passion for financial services and investment management
Basic understanding of fixed income markets and instruments
Strong analytical and data management skills, including familiarity with relational databases and query tools
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Customer-focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a dynamic setting

Preferred

Strong academic record (GPA 3.5+ preferred)
Willingness to pursue CFA designation
