The Technology Training Specialist oversees the planning, development, and implementation of training programs to equip team members with necessary skills to support the company's technology strategy and transformation.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with subject matter experts and leaders across multiple departments to ensure alignment on training plans, accuracy of content, and execution
Develops, designs, and implements training plans and content based on priority and impact
Facilitates and administers training via multiple channels including in-person, e-learning, virtual, and third party-led trainings
Measures effectiveness of training programs by eliciting team member feedback through surveys and other means
Manages training resources including budget, tools, materials, and third-party consultants to ensure optimal utilization
Partners with department heads and human resources to ensure technology team members have clear job competencies, development plans, and career paths. Stays up to date with latest training methodologies and technology trends, implementing into roadmap as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum 3 years experience
Adult learning theories / principles
Training evaluation methods
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Workday Learning
Proficiency with virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex)
Familiarity with AI-driven or adaptive learning technologies
Strong understanding of enterprise technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, cybersecurity basics, data analytics tools)
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training for non-technical audiences
Career pathing and competency frameworks
Applying change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR)
