Director, Florida Marketing Operations

Responsibilities

Develop seasonal and monthly marketing calendar inclusive of key cultural and commercial moments, new product launches , seasonal and specialty product releases, promotional initiatives and activations
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans with clear objectives, target audience identification and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Own the 'customer' thru the lens of marketing, with specific focus on identifying key trends, insights and recommendations for customer acquisition and retention campaigns
Drives the creation of marketing plans and the end-to-end process from marketing idea thru to implementation, inclusive of campaign performance measurement
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated into the overall business plan
Evaluates market conditions to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth
Works closely with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations on market dynamics and potential business opportunities
Collaborates with creative teams to develop compelling brand messaging, to align with respective customer segments
Support localization and customization of the brand in different regions, elevating the product value proposition and brand positioning
Leads the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty
Provides key messaging inputs as it relates to media planning and execution
Works closely with the marketing, production, retail, data and insights teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and deliver measurable results
Responsible for the customer experience across all marketing channels through defined KPIs and reporting
Collaborates with retail planning, production and supply chain, brand marketing and other departments to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives
Provides leadership and mentorship to the marketing team, promoting professional growth and development
Fosters a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, professional growth, and knowledge sharing among team members

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; required
8-12 years in marketing leadership roles with a focus on strategy, planning and execution, required
Strong marketing and strategy fundamentals, including expertise in go-to-market strategies, brand positioning, consumer research, storytelling, and digital and media planning
Ability to analyze product performance data, and understand features and benefits, to develop compelling brand messaging that resonates with the target audience
Versatility in shifting between strategy, planning and execution in a fast paced, results driven environment
Proactive management of multiple priorities and teams in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment, with a creative mindset to explore innovative scaling opportunities
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels
Familiarity with all marketing channels, trends and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide strategic counsel
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
