Sales Development Representative

ExtractAlpha is a dynamic, rapidly growing global financial technology company looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their Sales Team. The SDR will research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities to generate new client interest.

Responsibilities

Market Mapping & List Building: Proactively research and identify new firms and key decision-makers within the financial industry to build, segment, and expand targeted prospect lists
Lead Generation & Qualification: Prospect and qualify leads from identified accounts, focusing on high-level decision-makers to build a high-quality pipeline
Outbound Prospecting : Perform high-volume, multi-channel outreach including emailing campaigns, calls, and research (leveraging tools like LinkedIn, HubSpot, and others)
Value Communication : Clearly present and articulate ExtractAlpha’s value proposition
Pipeline Management : Schedule and proactively set up meetings and product demonstrations between qualified leads and Sales Executives
CRM Management : Track and manage all prospecting activities, prospect information, and opportunity stages accurately within HubSpot
Strategy & Collaboration : Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies, share market insights, and achieve overall organizational revenue goals
Re-engagement : Implement strategies to re-engage stale or missed leads and opportunities within the sales cycle

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university
Basic understanding of the financial industry
Comfortable being part of a small, remote team within a fast-growing organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent listening skills
Ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships
Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly
Must be self-motivated, curious, persistent, and able to work independently

Preferred

Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas is a plus, but not required
