Responsibilities
Design and execute system-wide and product-oriented test cases based on customer workflows
Investigate, reproduce, and document customer-reported issues; collaborate with Development teams on resolution
Record results in test management systems and maintain clear test documentation
Report testing status, backlog, and risks to the team manager
Provide test support and consultation to Development teams
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand real-world use cases
Follow established R&D and quality processes
Drive continuous improvements in test coverage, processes, and assets
Implement test automation to improve efficiency where applicable
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Engineering, Software Development, or related technical field
2+ years of experience in system testing, software/hardware testing, or application engineering
Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and applications
Experience with test methodologies, defect tracking, and test documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
Knowledge of OPC UA, HMI, Industrial Communication, PROFINET
Experience with PLC programming (LAD, SCL, or similar)
Programming experience with C# or similar languages
Knowledge of industrial safety systems (Failsafe PLCs, PROFIsafe)
Experience with test frameworks (NUnit, MSTest) and source control (Git, TFS)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a global development environment
Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically or internationally
