Responsibilities

Provide project support for a fast-pasted program, providing direct assistance to project managers, as required, to ensure efficient and timely actions such as assisting with schedules, budgets and errands as assigned
Duties may include working with Contracts, Finance, Pricing, Subcontracts, Accounting, and Procurement departments to facilitate program needs
Perform procurement duties to include material quotes and tracking
The candidate will be responsible for training on and becoming proficient with internal tools made available to help assess program status; therefore, the candidate must have initiative and be a quick learner
Candidates will be expected to resolve issues independently and accurately
In addition to programmatic tasks, the ideal candidate will grow responsibilities to include technical tasks such as test preparation, test support, and analysis as opportunities arise

Required

Bachelor's Degree; STEM field preferred
Candidates with 2-4 years of experience are encouraged to apply
Candidate must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, ideally MS Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment
Candidate must show initiative in a team environment to be a problem solver
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Secret Clearance

Preferred

In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate should be highly organized, be attentive to detail, have customer service experience with outstanding communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently at times due to a fast-paced and highly productive work environment
Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following: recent stellar academic performance
