Responsibilities
Lead and execute fundraising campaigns, including major gifts, annual giving, corporate and foundation support, and events, while continuously improving in each area based on data
Secure and steward major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
Support grant development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals
Use donor management systems (DMS) to track performance and inform decisions
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, board members, and community partners
Represent Girl Power Rocks at events and speaking engagements to elevate the mission
Responsible for planning and executing campaigns and events that secure funding and meet clearly defined financial and engagement targets
Collaborate with the CEO and Board to strengthen fundraising capacity and ensure measurable growth
Develop compelling donor communications and impact reports
Create meaningful recognition and engagement experiences for supporters
Provide timely, data-driven fundraising reports, monthly, quarterly, and annually to the CEO, Board, and donors, demonstrating progress toward financial and engagement goals
Work closely with the marketing team/company to create high-quality materials and execute campaigns, events, and newsletters that maximize donor outreach and engagement
Supervise development staff and volunteers, ensuring accountability and performance
Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising metrics in the agency’s donor management system
Collaborate across teams to align funding opportunities with program needs that demonstrate impact
Track and analyze fundraising data to evaluate progress and guide strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred
7+ years of progressive fundraising and partnership experience
Proven success in major gifts, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and special events
Strong organizational, communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
Experience with leading teams and managing donor systems (DMS)
