Responsibilities
The Senior Compliance Analyst assists the Compliance Manager in performing a broad range of complex and technical audit duties within both the compliance and internal audit departments
The Senior Compliance Analyst assists in gathering detailed information for and communicating with external auditors and examiners as well as performing other duties as assigned
The Senior Compliance Analyst reports to the Compliance Manager
The Senior Compliance Analyst must possess a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services; fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies related to the industry and their particular job responsibilities
The Analyst must have the ability to research issues and respond to questions from staff and others, as necessary
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required
A minimum of two years work experience preferably in the banking industry
in depth attention to detail
high level of expertise in the Compliance area
thorough knowledge of all bank products and services
fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies related to the industry and their particular job responsibilities
ability to research issues and respond to questions from staff and others, as necessary
Preferred
bachelor's degree in a finance field
Work in the accounting field may substitute for education
