They are seeking a paid summer intern in the Weather Operations and Research Group to work alongside meteorologists and engineers, prototype new products, and learn about the impact of weather on energy markets.

Responsibilities
Working with AG2 meteorologists, engineers, and product team to help prototype new products/features
Engaging in discussions with the operational team to help understand the thorny day-to-day forecasting problems that our clients are most interested in
Learning about the impact of weather on energy markets from meteorologists and researchers with multiple decades of experience
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex datasets and develop actionable insights
Comfortable using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline workflows and analyze data
Proficiency in programming with Python
Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying data-driven insights
Must reside in U.S
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or closely related field
Preferred
Proficiency with forecasting tools, datasets, and meteorological software is a plus
