Responsibilities
Lead AI/ML projects in the federal space
Guide federal agency clients with large datasets in extracting useful insights and reducing manual analysis using various AI/ML techniques
Lead AI/ML centers of excellence to assist federal agencies in understanding various approaches and models within AI/ML
Collaborate with federal clients to develop and deploy AI/ML models
Assist Halvik in proposing innovative AI/ML solutions to help federal agencies go beyond basic analysis needs
Qualification
Required
Proficient with a broad spectrum of advanced data science techniques and industry expertise including machine learning and AI. Able to explain relevance of data science techniques to various use cases
Expert in descriptive statistics and statistical methods with applications in machine learning (e.g., correlation, regression, clustering)
Practical programming experience in Python, R, Matlab, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and/or other related programming languages (5+ years preferred)
Self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and lead projects, initiatives, and/or people
3+ years of practical data science experience
Preferred
5+ years of practical data science experience (preferred)
Advanced degree in a STEM-related field
Experience delivering end-to-end data science projects, starting with project plan, through data modelling/data integrity checks to delivering value with explainable results
Experience in automation and deployment preferred (MLOps and Data Engineering)
