InternAmerican Family Insurance is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer Intern to assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives. The intern will support the Information Security Solution Engineering team with cyber risk assessments and security consultations while developing an understanding of the organization’s business environments and corporate culture.

Responsibilities
Support business-related priorities by assisting the Information Security Solution Engineering team with cyber risk assessments and security consultations
Evaluate and update process documentation to ensure it accurately reflects current cybersecurity procedures and best practices within the team
Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives
Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations
Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management
May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles
Presents project results to management and/or department personnel
Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program
Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term
