Responsibilities
Hold full responsibility for all finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, planning, budgeting, strategic financial management, cash management, tax, payroll, current activity tracking, AIA billing, WIP analysis, contract status oversight, insurance, and financial components of potential M&A activity
Serve as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, including daily operational banking needs, debt management, and financing related to acquisitions
Report directly to the CEO and participate in monthly board meetings
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in a comparable or relevant finance leadership role
Strong construction industry background required, with a deep understanding of the operational flow and financial processes specific to the construction sector
Ability to work comfortably at both the detailed (“in the weeds”) level and broader strategic level
Alignment with a culture built on a positive attitude, strong ethical standards, and commitment to results
Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with Foundation accounting software is a plus
