Responsibilities
Act as the primary technical advisor to program managers, capture managers, and Army stakeholders, ensuring proposed solutions align with Army modernization priorities, acquisition strategies, and operational needs
Lead the identification and application of company core capabilities to win new Army customers, expand services across existing programs, and leverage lessons learned from prior ACAT I and DEVCOM efforts to drive discriminating technical approaches
Provide engineering vision and governance across multi-disciplinary teams, including systems engineering, software, modeling and simulation, integration, test, and sustainment
Evaluate technical risks, guide trade studies, and make informed recommendations on cost, schedule, and performance impacts
Represent the company as a trusted engineering partner to senior Army leadership
Qualification
Required
Recognized Subject Matter Expert within PEO Missiles and Space, PEO Aviation, and/or DEVCOM AvMC, with a demonstrated reputation for solving complex, high-risk technical challenges
20+ Years of related engineering experience
Prior experience serving as Chief Engineer for an ACAT I Army Weapon System
Experience supporting or leading efforts within a DEVCOM Capability Center
Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
