Senior Manager, Accreditation Systems, Data Management and Training
LA28 is the independent, non-profit organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Senior Manager, Accreditation Systems, Data Management and Training, will lead the accreditation systems sub-function, ensuring the effective planning and delivery of accreditation and access control applications, while coordinating with various internal teams to provide a seamless experience for all accredited participants.

Responsibilities
Represent ACR during all phases of the accreditation and access control application development and deployment, including requirements gathering; user stories review; development prioritization and monitoring; delivery acceptance testing; configuration; and user onboarding, training and support
Ensure that all user stories and functionality developments meet the needs of the LA28 Accreditation program, making suggestions and recommendations on development and configuration changes as needed
Coordination of integration of data between the accreditation/access control applications and other internal and external systems
Monitor compliance with the agreed development and delivery timelines
Monitor and scrutinize the performance of the application and interfaces
Define technology equipment specifications and configurations, in particular related to the reprographics hardware used for production of the OIACs and PIACs
Ensure configuration of the accreditation application to meet required data quality and accuracy requirements
Prepare and provide tools and advice to support external organizations with the submission of accurate personal data for their delegation members
Implement mechanisms for external and internal users to identify, report and resolve data accuracy concerns, maximizing opportunities for issues to be resolved prior to arrival into the host country for the Games, with a focus on overall stakeholder experience and arrival journey
Provide technical advice and support to the ACR stakeholder services sub-functions for the management and processing of Accreditation data in accordance with privacy and data protection principles, and LA28, IOC and IPC policies and procedures
Capture and review all qualitative reporting needs, implementing appropriate reporting methods and cadences in line with data protection principles
With the LA28 Games Data team, define quantitative reporting requirements to monitor the submission and processing of accreditation registrations, as well as the issuance and usage (by day/venue) of OIACs, PIACs, Guest Passes, Day Passes and Upgrade Cards at Games-time
Alongside the sub-function leads for Competition Venue Operations and Non-Competition Venue Operations, oversee the selection, recruitment, scheduling and rostering of the ACR functional area’s volunteer workforce
Lead the design of the training program and materials for all external and internal users of the accreditation and access control applications
Oversee delivery of all training to ACR paid staff and volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped for their Games-time roles
Supervise deployment and validation of ACR-related technology equipment to accreditation facilities at Games-time
Establish and maintain consistent approach to accreditation and access control issue resolution across Games venues from a position in the ACR functional area command center in coordination with TEC
Support real-time reporting needs of the ACR sub-functions and in response to requests from across the LA28 Organizing Committee, IOC and IPC
Provide support to the Head of Accreditation and functional area command center as necessary
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in delivery of accreditation applications at major events
Experience Olympic and Paralympic Games, or equivalent large-scale sporting or similar global events
Experience with CRM, data visualization, reporting, Microsoft SharePoint and Smartsheet
Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making
Demonstrated success with implementing and managing an accreditation application at a major event, coordinating with technology providers, stakeholder/user requirements, cross-functional resources, timelines and processes
Deep understanding of all aspects of accreditation planning associated with major event planning in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
Understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic accreditation processes, programs and principles
Experience in a leadership role, building teams, and working across various functions
Excellent communication and human relations skills, including experience communicating with international communities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population, in particular international communities
