Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, outreach, relationship cultivation, qualification, offer support, close, and onboarding handoff
Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality agent and team targets aligned with Douglas Elliman’s luxury brand and market positioning
Partner with regional and corporate leadership to structure competitive recruiting offers within established approval thresholds and economic guidelines
Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in accordance with recruiting performance standards
Collaborate with Finance/FP&A and Operations to ensure recruiting targets reflect market-specific business models and retained economics
Ensure recruiting activity adheres to legal, compliance, and policy requirements across all stages of the process
Represent Douglas Elliman externally with professionalism, discretion, and credibility in competitive recruiting environments

Required

5-10+ years of experience recruiting agents or teams in residential real estate, or adjacent talent acquisition roles with strong brokerage exposure
Willing and able to travel 25%+ of the year (as business needs require)
Demonstrated success recruiting meaningful production in competitive, high-cost markets
Comfort operating within performance-based compensation structures that include upside tied to results
Strong financial and business judgment, including understanding of market economics and offer structures
High integrity and credibility with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a results-driven environment
