Electrical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities
Complete a primary project that includes project management and solution development
Contribute to determining the technical direction for customer originated projects and Jabil's own cloud compute product offerings. This will include documenting product requirements, communicating the plan of record design and tradeoffs, and establishing the system layout and electrical feasibility
Train on detailed design requirements of CPUs, GPUs, Storage, Memory, FPGAs, board materials, regulators, power supplies etc
Hands-on assembly and disassembly of cloud computing products
Qualification
Required
Major(s): Electrical Engineering
Class Year(s): Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
GPA: Min 3.0
Availability: Must be available to work in Austin, TX from May 18, 2026 – Aug 7, 2026
Proven academic project experience
Capability to research and explore unfamiliar technologies
Strong data analysis skills
Familiarity with EE design tools
Understanding of electrical engineering design principles
Effective Communication
Self-starter – Ability to drive work
Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
