Responsibilities
Write and execute intermediate SQL queries to extract data for analysis and client inquiries
Utilize production reports to assess data quality and perform in-depth research
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends related to fraud, waste, and abuse within claims data
Engage with clients to manage and triage operational inquiries efficiently
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, ensuring high-quality outcomes through research and interpretation of complex datasets
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing SQL queries and data analysis
Proven experience in fraud, waste, and abuse data mining
Strong analytical skills with a focus on healthcare claims data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction
Preferred
Industry certifications such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Experience with statistical data analysis and Medicaid policy
Familiarity with healthcare claim adjudication systems
