Building Automation Controls Technician
ABM Industries is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. They are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Technician to program, install, service, and maintain Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) at commercial facilities.

Responsibilities
Interface professionally with commercial building customers and contractors
Program and install BAS and DDC control systems
Perform scheduled and routine maintenance on BAS components including front-end systems, DDC controllers, and end devices
Respond to service calls (emergency, on-site, and remote support)
Troubleshoot and repair control systems and connected devices
Back up controller programs and BAS computers/servers
Use maintenance software to document services and manage work orders
Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary
Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience installing and programming BAS & DDC control systems
H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent, associate's degree preferred
Computer literate, including Windows and Office Suite
Must be 18 years of age or older
No experience required and on the job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred
Test and Balance experience preferred
Fume Hood experience preferred
TEL, Triatek, and/or Metasys controls experience preferred
One (1) year of similar work experience
