Entering tax information for tax preparers into the system
Taking drop off tax documents
Performing light clerical duties such as answering the phone and scheduling appointments
Working independently in a tax office without supervision
Working weekends
Dressing business casual
Showing up on time
Greeting clients
Booking appointments over the phone
Answering the phone when needed
Performing general clerical duties
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
Additional state and local requirements may apply
You must be able to dress business casual. This is not a casual dress environment
Reliable transportation is required
Being able to show up on time is required
Must be able to work alone in a tax office with little supervision
Must be able to work Saturday's and Sundays
Must be able to work outside of the hours 9 to 5
Will double as receptionist if and when needed
Book appointments over the phone and greet clients
Answer the phone when needed and perform general clerical duties
Preferred
If you have already prepared taxes at least 1 to 3 years
