Responsibilities
Utilizing special tooling to disassemble & reassemble multiple gas compressor models
Operating hand, pneumatic, and battery powered tools
Measuring critical dimensions using micrometers, calipers, depth mics, etc…
Cleaning components in wash bay & blast cabinet
Using BOM, assembly planning, engineered drawings
Operating overhead cranes & fork-lifts to move heavy equipment
Commitment to safety awareness & attention to potential hazards
Able to learn quickly and retain knowledge across multiple compressor models
Committed to working in a team environment & maintaining a positive attitude
Qualification
Required
Repair/overhaul experience of centrifugal gas compressors or other turbomachinery
Experience with precision measuring equipment
Familiarity/experience with dynamic balancing activities related to compressor rotors
Previous experience in O&G operations and/or strong mechanical background
Must be dependable and willing to work overtime and weekends
Comfortable with working in a dynamic & frequently shifting environment
