Quality Technician

Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products, components, and assembly
Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products, components, and assemblies against blueprints, specifications, and quality standards
Conduct various quality tests using a range of measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators
Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting any deviations or non-conformances
Initiate and assist with non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control plans and work instructions
Support the calibration and maintenance of quality inspection equipment to ensure accuracy
Assist in the development and revision of quality documentation, such as inspection procedures and work instructions
Participate in internal and external quality audits as required
Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology) preferred
One to three years (1-3) of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis)
Experience with various measurement tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM operation is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to accurately document data and complete reports
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
Associate degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology)
