Senior Revenue Accountant
AccruePartners is one of the largest industrial distribution and manufacturing companies in the world, seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support their accounting team. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits while contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Support the accounting team, with day-to-day operations including bank reconciliations
Review journal entries, account reconciliations and manage financial transactions
Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end close, ensuring financial statements are prepared timely and accurately
Assist with interim and annual audits, working with internal and external teams
Analyze financial statements and provide insights and recommendations
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Create process improvements and set KPI's
Qualification
Required
MUST HAVE REVENUE RECOGNITION experience (ASC 606)
Support the accounting team, with day-to-day operations including bank reconciliations
Review journal entries, account reconciliations and manage financial transactions
Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end close, ensuring financial statements are prepared timely and accurately
Assist with interim and annual audits, working with internal and external teams
Analyze financial statements and provide insights and recommendations
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Create process improvements and set KPI's
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
4+ years of accounting/ finance experience preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with factory accounting is a plus
