Health Care
Responsibilities
Daily, weekly, monthly reporting-Visits, admissions, Medical Supply, Durable Medical equipment, Pharmacy. Various Compliance audits- including Admission paperwork, HOPE scheduling
Patient billing review- Including Part D audits
Insurance authorization- Commercial, Medicaid and VA
Manage referrals to external vendors-Physical Therapy, Wound Care
Manage account access for various vendors- Pharmacy, Medical Supply, Office Supply, Durable medical Equipment, Postal, Pharmaceutical waste
Administrative support to all branches-including monitoring outstanding physician orders, Billing hold review-work with branches to ensure HCHB workflow is completed to ensure timely billing
Work with organizational departments including finance, intake, clinical and others as needed
Special projects and other related duties as assigned by the Manager of Clinical Administration
Accountable for compliance with all HIPAA, CMS, CHAP and CAHPS regulations and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Minimum of 1 year experience in health care data entry
Computer experience- Excel, Microsoft teams/Outlook
Demonstrates good communication skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
Ability to pass DHS background study
Preferred
Associate's degree in business, communications, healthcare or related field
EMR and HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
