Responsibilities
Oversees day-to-day construction and maintenance of fiber-internet infrastructure
Assists with repairs during storms or disasters
Gather and load all correct materials / supplies onto truck for work
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license and be insurable for use of company vehicles
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to work long hours, as occasionally required, and able to lift/carry up to 75 pounds
Must be able to climb ladder and/or work in bucket truck
Thrives in a team environment
Preferred
Excels in outdoor work and hands-on tasks
Interest / experience in climbing poles and using various tools / machinery (e.g., plow, trencher, excavator)
Flexibility to assume, and complete, a variety of responsibilities
A blend of physical fitness, strategic problem-solving and customer service initiative
Eagerness to install, maintain and repair fiber-internet lines / infrastructure
