Responsibilities
Assist the project team in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily project activities
Support administrative functions and coordination across multiple project locations
Help organize and control project work to ensure alignment with safety, environmental, cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives
Ensure project decisions and activities support established objectives and priorities
Prepare and deliver presentations related to project status, issues, and risks
Support project controls with the development and review of cost estimates
Obtain required approvals for planned project work
Monitor project progress, manpower utilization, and budget performance
Communicate project progress, updates, and developments to team members
Track project documentation, changes, and variation orders
Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effective communication among project stakeholders and management
Qualification
Required
Typically 5–7 years of relevant project engineering experience
Strong understanding of engineering discipline principles and project execution practices
Ability to apply experience and technical knowledge to complex problems and develop practical recommendations
Capable of making decisions within broad guidelines and project parameters
Demonstrated ability to support and guide less-experienced team members
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced project environment
